Local Experiences
For that morning cuppa or chai latte you can venture down to the Burra Café, a bit of an institution in the Burra where you will find all kinds of tasty treats from Tamsin’s Cake Shop, whose afternoon tea cakes are like a little plate of homestyle love. The Café shares its space with a number of other retailers so enjoy a wonder through there or take a leisurely stroll up and down the main street where you will find a variety of stores and shops from locally made products to used furniture.Â
The Burra Brewing Co. produce a variety of easy drinking beers that have been designed and brewed with the craft beer drinker in mind and have an irresistible beer garden out front. They also offer very scrumptious house-made wood-fired pizzas.Â
There is also an Indian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant and of course the 2 local pubs. Plus, it's not a trip to the country without trying one of the many creations from Kelly's Bakery - the Kelly House Pie is a local favourite!
