Inverloch Sustainable Living

This solar earthen home caters for small workplace groups or small club groups, looking for a values aligned setting. When not catering to these conscious customers or volunteers, a city family uses it for their getaway place, and one live-in resident keeps the whole show on the road (with some help). Sheltered outdoor spaces sit in lush, productive gardens   created over twenty years. Founded in ecological design and organic managment by Thereses Gilligan and Dominic Gilligan nee DaPos.  The house is situated in a quiet double court, yet just twenty minute walk to the nearest trails, coast lake and safe beaches. Nearest cafe, and shops are a short fifteen minute trail walk . Centre town is another fifteen minutes walk. Full off-street parking for two vehicles (one mini bus). Off-kerb parking for one vehicle. (All pictures will be updated upon full re-launch in late 2022). 

Spaces

Bookings in 2022 are for West Wing and parts of Northern gardens, with one toilet, one shower , one full functioning kitchen with cooking essentials. The Sunroom dining area also has a kitchenette.

Capacity to host up to six (6) people. Own toilet, shower and full functioning kitchen with basic cooking essentials.

Bed Configuration in West Wing

Small bedroom:  One(1) Queen Bed in small bedroom with view to South garden.

Loft bedroom is above Small bedroom: two (2) single beds.  Extra single mattress on request.

Lounge room: One Double Sofa (unfolds to comfortable firm small Double). One other sofa.

Through the house you will see examples of our hand-made, conscious multi-purpose design approach - band-sawn farm-grown local Cypress; urban Blackwood - band-sawn, home dried;  salvaged Australian hardwoods; urban branch-wood; We use Australian matting with recycled rubber.
