Situated on a quiet corner of the headland on Tambo Bluff, Lakeview Retreat is only a 5 minute drive to Metung Village and a 15 minute walk to the Metung Hot Springs which are due to open this Winter.
This beachside cottage is close enough to town to grab supplies, but also secluded enough to enjoy that getaway from the crowds with a little bit of peace and quiet. With only a gentle short stroll to the foreshore of Lake King the views are stunning as you look back towards Raymond Island.
Enjoy a wine on the deck watching the boats sail by or walk to the headland only meters away to take in the incredible sunsets. By night toast marshmallows in the fire pit while watching the stars, so vivid in the clear country skies.
The kitchen at Lakeview is decked out with local produce including locally made jams, herbal teas and coffee from Nicholson. Upon arrival guests will also find condiments that will set you up for your first breakfast, with compliments of the owners, including eggs, bread, granola, butter and milk, all locally sourced from Gippsland and the Metung region.
