Mountford Cottage

This luxury cottage is perfect for couples and friends and offers comfortable quality furnishings throughout. Located on the Tambo Bluff estate, the cottage is within a short drive or walk (about 15 min walk) to the upcoming Metung Hot Springs and Country Club & Golf Course, and a 6 minute drive into the heart of Metung Village, and the infamous Metung Hotel and shops.  

There is a delightful welcoming feeling that you get with an indoor wood fire and this cottage is no exception. The property also boasts an outdoor firepit for sitting around on those relaxing afternoons and evenings. As an additional surprise the owners have created a unique outdoor experience with the inclusion of the most divine and dreamy outdoor bathroom that comes with its own Victorian iron clawfoot bath. 

This cottage comes with fruit trees and a vegetable garden and yes, we would be delighted if you help yourself to what ever is in season!

Mountford Cottage has resident bikes for your use and there are many well known local trails that will get your heart pumping. Venture Out Australia has some great incites into the area if bike riding is your thing!
